The Orange County Chamber and the New York State Small Business Development Center will sponsor a free “Business Energy Savings Workshop” on Wednesday, March 24 from 8:00-9:30 a.m. in the Larkin Community Room at the Chamber Business Center in Montgomery . The workshop is hosted by Central Hudson Gas & Electric. Refreshments will be provided.
Information on utility rebates, free energy audits and rebates of up to 70 percent on the equipment cost of energy efficiency upgrades will be presented by Barry Henck of Central Hudson . In addition, Richard Torres from the Internal Revenue Service will discuss federal tax credits for energy efficiency for businesses that make upgrades. Arnaldo Sehweret from the NYS Small Business Development Center will talk about Small Business Administration financing for businesses that want to do energy efficiency upgrades.
The program will conclude with questions and answers.
