Eddie Diana was re-elected to his third term as County Executive in 2009. He was a County Legislator for 12 years, six of them as Majority Leader. He was also a Councilman and Deputy Supervisor in the Town of Wallkill in the early 1980s. Mr. Diana worked for 30 years as an educator and athletic instructor in the Minisink public
schools. He also owned the popular Middletown restaurant, Diana’s, that his grandparents started in 1936. He is a member of many civic and community organizations and he has won numerous awards.
